I think that a unique car imported from the States beats the heart of everyone. Restoration of this beautiful model was started for Mr. Denes B. based on a verbal offer of a common friend.
Baseplate of the cabin was fully corroded. Salty, seaside air does not do a lot of good for it.
Decision was done to change baseplate completely. We took into consideration the requests of the classification of vintage cars meaning we copied original forms and bends of baseplate. The bottoneck of project was time. Because of limited deadline we were not able to take off body from chassey. Hole process done on site.
Surfaces of re-manufactured items was painted with special primer, which is resistant on welding. It does not fire, only de-colours. Protection of closed areas is 100% in this way.
This way we secure good condition of car for many years.
